The app stored a device identifier and a push registration token, and nothing else. That was enough to deliver a notification to the right device and to nobody else. No name, no email, no account.

Finding a vaccination slot in 2021 meant refreshing a page and hoping to be there in the seconds it stayed open. People did this at work, at night, on behalf of parents and neighbours.

The app replaced that with a standing instruction. A person described the slot they needed once, then put their phone down. The watching became the system's job.

The app did not book appointments and made no medical claims. It told people that a matching slot existed, and pointed them to CoWIN.
